The English Camp is created for English speakers, children who experience sincere joy and interest in spending time in the company of foreign peers, enjoy the international atmosphere and enjoy the use of English in action! The English in Action program has conquered participants from all over the world since 1973,. The combination of learning English with a lot of sports and creative leisure activities gives a truly amazing effect. Day and night in a language environment. English is the language of everyday communication in the Camp. Pensions Young Austria Salszburgerhof, Simonyhof and Carinth is the meeting place of the young participants from around the world. Young teachers from England, the USA, Ireland and Australia come to the Camp.

Depending on the age of participants and their basic level of English proficiency, the English in Action program is conducted in one of the three Young Austria Guest Houses: Carinth, Salszburgerhof or Simonyhof.

Accommodation and food:

Pension Carinth	g. Mariapfarr, about 117 km. south of Salzburg. 4-6 bed rooms, shower / toilet in the room. 3 dining rooms and lounges. Large outdoor sports hall. Main program:

Classes are divided into the following main areas:

In « grammatical » groups participants will comprehend and apply the most important grammar rules in English. The acquired knowledge will be consolidated through participation in a variety of activities. And the guys will see that learning grammar can be not at all dry and boring!
Creativity will be in demand in « design » groups . Create a radio show, make a report on one day from the life of the camp, show the news release and shoot the cartoon – all this will require knowledge of the English language, and the ability to interact (on it, and how!) with other project participants.
English seminars » will provide participants with the most commonly used words and expressions that will be necessary in everyday life and in lengthy cognitive travels in English-speaking countries.
&Discussion » groups will become a platform for discussing current topics. Those who care about the youngest participants, and those who are called teenagers. Keep your mouth shut and not get involved in the discussion, well, it just will not work!

At the beginning of stay in the camp, the level of knowledge of the participants in the English language is being clarified, with the aim of forming groups in which the children would feel most comfortable and get the maximum benefit (and pleasure!) from classes.

In our free time, the program is full of colorful and diverse activities: amazing mountain bike routes, swimming, beach volleyball, orienteering, hiking, football ...

And in the evenings the children are waited with bright shows, discos, evenings by the fire ...
