Main program:
Each step in the journey is an important element in the development of their life skills. The special environment of the international center creates ideal conditions for the development of 6 basic life skills for children - confidence, communication, problem solving, teamwork, research and creativity . These are skills that will benefit them both in school and in their future adulthood.
Our activities and excursions are designed to further develop these skills. To lead a team project, earn the trust of classmates, be part of a team - our students have many opportunities to develop their life skills.
Confidence. Build confidence and « feel » yourself, stepping out of your comfort zone. This path begins at the very beginning, when students leave their parents and go abroad on their own. By the end of summer, our goal is to make them more confident, competent and independent people.
Communication. The key to success in life is the ability to communicate effectively. This is the skill that students develop here the most. Students from all over the world study together – communicate, learn a new language in the classroom and participate in events - communication develops daily.
Teamwork. Students collaborate with each other, exchanging ideas and ultimately achieving common goals. In addition, they practice teamwork experience in the classroom, working on various projects together and during events where collaboration is key.
Research. Look at the world with different eyes, discovering new places, cultures and ideas. Our students not only discover the cities of Great Britain, but also study the local culture. And the national mix among students allows them to learn more about other cultures.
Problem Solving. Improve your logical and creative thinking to find solutions to simple or complex problems. Our wide range of activities and excursions often includes an element of problem solving. This makes children think outside the box and find their own solutions. Our employees always encourage them to take responsibility and think independently if a problem arises, which will contribute to their personal development.
Creativity. Develop originality and freedom of expression through mental and physical activity. Creativity manifests itself in many different forms, and we encourage you to find your own. In our program, students can practice this in art and craft classes, creating fashion out of rubbish, on popular « show talents » and events like dancing and theater.
A British Council accredited curriculum includes 40 lessons in 2 weeks, 45 minutes each. English lessons are held in international groups, in which the guys are distributed according to the test results. In the class – no more than 15 children. All training materials are issued in the classroom. Lessons are held both in the morning and in the afternoon. The program is built with a focus on developing communication skills. Qualified native-speaking teachers deliver lessons in a fun interactive way, including role-playing games, group and individual projects.
A rich program of extracurricular activities and excursions is an obligatory part of the summer course. Activities help students continue to learn English in a playful way, develop their life skills and make new friends through sports, various activities and interactive games.
The program includes 5 trips to the central London per week: visiting museums (Science Museum, National History Museum, National Gallery, British Museum, Tate Modern, Victoria and Albert Museum, etc.), study walks in the historical areas of the city: Westminster, Covent Garden, Camden Town, to parks: Hyde Park, Regent Park, and, of course, a visit to the Westfield shopping center. Saturdays trips are organized outside of London: in Canterbury, Brighton, Cambridge, Oxford.
