Main program:
Russian Children's Film Academy “ CINEMA ”
Invites us to spend an unforgettable spring break with us from March 27 to April 1.
This time the young filmmakers will go on an expedition to one of the most interesting cities of Northern Europe, the capital of Estonia, the city of Tallinn
The image of Tallinn and its legends were formed by different peoples: for a thousand years the castle city managed to visit the Danes, Germans, Swedes and Russians.
We will place ourselves in the historical center in a comfortable hotel and spend 6 days in Tallinn. During this time we will walk along the Town Hall Square and rise to the old Town Hall, striking tourists with its gothic primordiality, enjoy the view of the Old City and take off your first shots.
No matter how difficult it is to believe it, but once the highest building on Earth was in the territory of Estonia. The church of St. Olaf, with its almost 159 meters of height, was a world record holder for about two hundred years. It was a good assistant to the sailors: a black spire protruding high in the sky was an excellent guide.
Tallinn – a sea city and it always dictated its terms.
I could not remain indifferent to Revel – this is one of the names of the city, and Peter the Great. He gave his wife Catherine I a beautiful European park with the palace of Kadriorg. It was preserved almost in its original form. Now here is the Museum of Arts and the Presidential Palace. &Nbsp;
Estonians claim that the birthplace of marzipan – namely Estonia. Although France, Germany and Italy also claim this title. Of course, we will fix on the movie camera the production of this amazing treat and blind ourselves with an unusual souvenir for our loved ones.
There is also the Zoo in Tallinn. It was opened in 1939 and to this day pleases the large and small visitors with the richness of its zoos exposure. &Nbsp;
In 2011, in the Kalamaya district of Tallinn, in the hangars with a century-old history, a giant museum, Gidrogavan » was opened. Here show the legendary British submarine Lembit. She's in perfect condition. Also in the museum you can see the model of the British seaplane Short Type 184 in full size. In the open air there are several ships, including the world's largest icebreaker. In addition, we will go on a virtual trip around the world in the Yellow submarine.
From the present, we are transferred two centuries ago, having found ourselves in the huge ethnographic village of Rocca al Mare. We will be surrounded by wooden huts, barns and mills 100-200 years old. Let's try the food and drinks of that time.
One day we will go to the legendary beach of Perita, admire the amber in the old shops and visit the movie theater, located in the ancient castle of Count Orlov.
We will also be waiting at the University of Tallinn, where we will meet students who study cinema and make an interesting film. We will be shown pavilions, auditoriums and cinemas, and we will show our Estonian colleagues their films.
The final shots of our spring voyage will be photographed at an altitude of 150 meters, where the northernmost stratospheric airship in the world will take us. &Nbsp;
