The rehabilitation center "Our Sunny world" has been holding an annual summer camp for children with special needs and their families since 1992. The camp is a place where nature, emotions, hopes, communication, smiles, knowledge, aspirations merge together. The list can be continued for a long time, but the main thing is that for every person (child, parent, teacher and volunteer) the camp is a special world where there is something very valuable.

Over the past few years, the rehabilitation center "Our Sunshine World" conducts summer camps for his children. This year will not be an exception, the summer camp will be held in the Moscow region and in July 2016.

It is planned to hold 2 shifts.

Intensive rehabilitation program

Specialists of the Center prepare an intensive individual program for each child, which will allow to optimally distribute the load and most effectively organize rehabilitation. Guys will attend individual and group classes throughout the day.

Customized activities

During the day, the children will attend classes on somato-sensory therapy, kinesitherapy and adaptive physical education, productive activities and game interaction (FLOORTIME), hippotherapy and massage, development of speech and cognitive skills, computer and ABA-therapy. Such diversity will allow for each child to organize that developing environment that would be effective for him.

Development of cognitive functions

This is a new direction in our Center. For a long time our specialists worked on the development of cognitive skills of children in other occupations and, finally, decided to single out this work in a separate occupation. It is known that for the development of independence and arbitrariness it is very important to know what and why it is necessary to do. The development of these abilities, namely: mental activity, programming skills, regulation and control of activities, is facilitated by these activities.

Gaming interaction

The method is based on the DIR-Floortime approach, which is widely distributed and successfully practiced abroad. The main goal of the method is development of the affective sphere in the child, communication skills and game activity. ".
In the lesson, involving the child in joint play activity, an adult (teacher or parent) develops social interaction skills in the child: co-ordinated attention, emotional contact with other people, joint activities. In the camp, specialists working in this direction had the opportunity to go outside the office and, using FLOORTIME principles and technologies, interact with children in nature: in the forest, in the sandbox, on the swings. This is very important for the prevention of "room syndrome", which so often prevents our children from generalizing their acquired skills and using them in everyday life.

Hippotherapy

Every day the guys will walk on the "horse". For some, it is a pleasant communication with a huge and kind animal, for others - a serious overcoming of fears (new, height, the horse itself), and for older children - real training, where they, like real athletes, will master vaulting skills, horse management, performance difficult tasks. At the end of each shift, the guys will show their skills in equestrian holidays.

Group Lessons

Project "Null" (school preparation group)

In the group lesson on preparing for school, "Null" the guys will learn to communicate, interact, wait for each other. This is greatly helped by fairy tales, in which the children themselves will take part together with the teachers. After such preparations, it will be easier for them to accept the rules on which the lesson is built. By the end of the lesson, all the children will be able to participate in the lesson without the help of tutors.

Project " Circus "

In the camp, the children will have the opportunity to participate in an exciting lesson, requiring endurance, patience, artistry! During the budget, the guys will learn to juggle, walk on a rope, turn into tigers and clowns. At the end of the change of spectators, a surprise awaits - the real CIRCUS SHOW!

Project "Girls"

Girls in the camp will learn the basics of good taste, trying on various decorations, to consolidate the results they will evaluate their image in the mirror and arrange dancing, and at the end of the shift - even walk on the catwalk!

Music gaming groups

On the musical project, teachers and children are on the same wave, because the music that is reproduced and perceived simultaneously literally tunes in one fret. The change of rhythms and transitions from major to minor develop in children the flexibility of the emotional sphere and self-regulation. The structure of the lesson is designed so that children do not have time to overdo it: the change of activities includes transitions from quiet songs on the carpet to song-games to imitate movements, then to playing the instruments by the children themselves, and finally to real energetic dances! The practical benefit is thus reinforced by the wonderful mood at the end of the session.
During the camp, the guys will learn to play along with the teachers on xylophones, spoons, diamonds and maracas and even sing along with their favorite songs.

Gaming folklore groups

The folklore game for adult boys and girls teaches both the adoption of certain rules, the structure and rhythm of games, and the social choice that is necessary for establishing contact and relationships.

All the guys in the dance are included in the process and the sense of social community as in no other form of interaction. That is why the round dance, as the oldest way of game interaction between people, has been carried through the ages not only by the experience of our ancestors in its folklore component-songs, dances, games, but also as a means of communication and, of course, a pleasant pastime.

By the end of the camp, all children will easily maintain the rhythm of games and their semantic.

Rock group project

The most diverse talents lie in our guys. The main thing to uncover them. What do the pedagogical musicians do successfully with the Rock group project.

Socialization project

Socialization " in the camp was conducted in the format of small groups of 2-3 people. Self-reliance in everyday things is a very important quality that the children will learn on the project.

Project &Theater; "

The theater project includes a lot of different methods and techniques for working on the affective sphere and the emotions of children and adolescents. This is a huge work on the perception and inclusion in his world of another, the correct recognition of each other's emotions. Interaction occurs both in the circle and on the stage, both in the group and in the pair, and the older guys choose their partner on their own, practicing the most important elements of communication.
Each participant of the theater is positioned as a real actor and everyone here has a huge field for self-expression. Such an approach contributes to the formation of adequate self-esteem and evaluation of comrades, and any action is backed up by feedback in the form of applause.

Project "Dancing "

In our camp, everyone can show talents, if not in the theater, then in the dances. The guys will learn new movements, learn to hear rhythms, try to cope with naughty feet. At the end of the shift, the guys will perform their dance numbers in front of the audience.

Project &Report;

Young reporters of the project "Reporting" will daily hunt for fresh news, take interviews with camp residents, disclose talents and teach all the rules of conduct. Every evening everyone will gather in the big hall to watch the next news release. This event is important for the report team " and for the audience and for the participants who shot in the commercials.

Workshops and Studios

Within two shifts in our camp will work inclusive workshops and studios, where everyone can show their talents, learn new forms of creativity, spend time in a good company.

Shift schedule:

During the whole shift, each participant's day is painted by minutes. The camp is very busy. This allows all the guys to use all their strengths, as well as to maximize their opportunities and talents. The skills obtained in the camp will allow the children to learn and learn new heights in their development.

There are many group forms of work in the camp. Thanks to theatrical, folklore, tourist, circus and other activities, the children will become united, purposeful, more enduring and active. Every day, the guys will prepare the releases of the "sunny" of the Miri » news, in cartoon - studio to create cartoons, to prepare musical numbers, riders to improve their mastery of riding and much more.

Every evening for kids and older children in the camp will be played a magical performance from the same little actors who with the help of teachers will put a fairy tale. Small and large actors will learn how to play on stage.

Evenings for older children will be organized by discos and songs by the fire.

For parents, folklore evenings and seminars on the themes of rehabilitation and social adaptation of their children are planned. Due to the conditions of the camp, parents and teachers have the opportunity to discuss many issues, talk about the future. Thanks to the work of psychologists, many parents had the opportunity to discuss complex topics for them and to outline ways to solve problems.

Unfortunately, the camp will not be able to accept all comers - it is aimed at children who are engaged in the center.

BUT! Rehabilitation Center "Our Sunshine World" are ready to advise and tell where to contact parents and children who need help. Since September 2008 in our Center there have been meetings of the scientific and methodical club. The main goal of the club – the formation of the possibility of an interdisciplinary dialogue between high-level experts, as well as the training of young specialists.

The Center is open for training specialists and transferring the experience of creating an integrated rehabilitation camp model and the Integrated approach to the rehabilitation of children with HIA and their families.
