Sailing Camp YachtCamp designed for families with children younger and middle age. Age from 5 to 13 years. The yachts on which we will travel are designed for five cabins of two people in each cabin. The yachts were built no later than 2012. Each yacht has a skipper captain and assistant to maintain cleanliness and provide food for families. All programs for children are adapted by first Light specialists. Our families are accommodated in comfortable rooms that will satisfy the needs of even the most demanding members of Discovery club !

1. Sport (Sportsman)

Purpose: Encourage love for sports, healthy lifestyles, active recreation

Task : Developing physical abilities with sports programs

2. Discovery (Tourist)

Purpose: Getting skills in tourism: the basics of tourism, the basis of survival, first aid. Active rest: cycling, hiking, exploring trips

Problem : Teach children the basics of tourism, instill a love for an active lifestyle. Teach your child to ride a bicycle, rollerblading, go hiking, survive in difficult conditions

Traveling

Aim: Cognitive and exciting activities aimed at obtaining useful and important information. Excursion program. Environmental program. Cultural life and history of the country.

Problem : Bring important information about the country, region, show the main attractions and places of interest. Being an explorer and traveler

Language

Goal: The language program. Classes with native speakers. Practical course

It is stated that the main language of communication in the camp is English. In fact, not so. In the camp there were even children who did not study English at all until the camp, respectively, they translated everything. Ie English - as in many camps, just in the classroom, the truth is daily. But I wanted my son to learn everyday English. Another camp lacks an adult guide - all young girls, students, it is clear that there is not enough methodological basis. This was clearly demonstrated by the concert concert, which was 1 time, on the last day off. The children were forced to tell everyone the verses in English, while they wrote them on paper with Russian letters and just crammed, the son did not even understand the meaning of what he had learned. And then there was a show of amateur performance - several children did what they could before the camp - who played the piano, who danced. In my opinion, this is not a concert at all, it does not show that the children did 2 weeks, what they did and what they took out. I remained dissatisfied, tk. son did not bring up English, he did not recognize the new one. But the son was satisfied, will join the adult life))

Thank you for your feedback. We try to make our work as good as possible and parental feedback is very important for us. This allows us to do our job better. During the winter holidays, we chose another camp site, so that the children would be even more interesting and useful in our Yangee projects.
