The village of Ust-Poch, where the volunteer project will take place, is located on a narrow, picturesque isthmus, surrounded on one side by Lake Pig, on the other — river Poch. This place has long attracted people. The population, judging by the ancient sites, appeared here as early as V &IV; er.

For a long history of the dawn of the settlement fell precisely in the Soviet period. The development of the timber industry and the increase in production volumes had a positive effect on the socio-economic development and appearance of the Ust-Poch settlement. In the 1970's and 1980s, the population was over 500 people.

In 1968, the Ust-Pochenskaya Zapan Club was put into operation, which worked back in the 1990s. The club had a library, billiards, tools for the VIA, board games, a dance hall in the lobby and an auditorium with 120 seats. Locals remember: « Passed daily films in the club: at 18.00 — child, at 20.00 — adult sessions. Dancing on weekends, performances of pop groups, choral groups. There were organized visits to theater, circus troupes, the Northern Choir. Amateur at the club was always, mostly young people participated, concerts were prepared for each holiday. Ust-Pochenskaya zapan Club — a vivid example of architecture in the style of "Soviet modern", today this type of objects belongs to the disappearing layer of Soviet architecture. The club was closed in the 2000s.

The building of the Ust-Pochenskaya zana club — This is the only place where local residents could hold public events. Initiative villagers in 2013 began work on the repair of the club at their own expense. So, in the past two years alone, we managed to collect 160 thousand rubles. These funds repaired the outer walls of the building and roof. Glazed exterior frames, frames painted on the outside. Repaired inside the building part of the floor.
