Trekking in the Crimea "Guerrilla paths" – 7-9 days

The first route is for beginners who want to join the pedestrian tourism. The complexity of the trip is simple.

The second route is - sporting. The first or second category of the Mountainous Crimea. It is more extended and more complex.

Description of the first route:

Duration of the trip: 8 days (7 nights).

The trekking will take place in the region of two mountain plateaus of Dolgorukovskaya Yaila and Karabi-yaily. The route is not difficult, kilometer per day within 5-8 km. On the way we will meet a large number of monuments set right in the forest and in the steppe. Basically these are monuments of the Soviet era established by labor collectives of various enterprises. But there are also quite new ones installed only a year or two ago.

In addition to the monuments established by man, there are also beautiful places, original natural monuments. The main thing in this campaign is to get the primary skills of life in the field and the skills of moving through the mountainous terrain. The basics of orientation on the map, the ability to use the compass, to properly pack the backpack, quickly put up a tent and build a bonfire. And many, many others!

Description of the sport route (first category):

Duration of the trip: 9 days (8 nights).

This is a nine-day route, passing through many interesting and beautiful places in the Eastern Crimea. This area is not so often visited as Demerdzhi or the Grand Canyon of Crimea, but no less beautiful. Let's start our trek in the city of Old Crimea. And in 8 days we will finish in the village of Perevalnoye, located on the route Simferopol - Alushta. On the way we will visit the Armenian monastery of Surb Khach, we will see many monuments to the heroic past of our ancestors, we will pass the canyon of the river Kuchuk-Karasu. We will climb up to the Karabo mountain plateau, and see a few caves. Part of the route will pass along the seacoast in the city of Sudak. For the village of Novy Svet, we will walk along the Golitsyno trail, through the Adamovo Gorge, through the secret shelters of the Taurians-the ancient inhabitants of the Crimea. Then we will rise to the mountains along the beautiful Orta-Syrt ridge. Further the path will pass through dense forests. During the war, partisans were hiding here. Another canyon on our way is the Panagia Gorge. In it we will go light, in a radial exit. The finish line of our path will pass through another plateau - Dolgorukovskaya Yaila. At the very end of the tour we will go to the Red Caves. The river flows along the bottom of the cave, it is a very beautiful sight. Four kilometers from the cave is the Simferopol-Alushta-Yalta highway. Through it, we move to the bay of Laspi, to the campsite to continue training in mining equipment. Due to its diverse landscapes, this route is diverse and not similar to others.

My son was in this camp 3 years ago. Then he was 8 years old. The program was pleasant to the son, but children hardly slept at night, judging by his stories.

- Negative

There are only boys in the detachment. For the whole parental day, no adult (counselor-educator) appeared in the corps. Question-who is looking after the children? Such a lack of sanitation in the detachment has never been seen. There was a feeling that the room was washed before the start of the shift and this calmed down. Almost all the children were infected with lice. We fed badly, the child always said that he wanted to eat. On the declared rafting, about which I told my son, some children did not take, left on the beach, including my boyfriend. We will not go any more.

Leaders - themselves are children in fact. Children went dirty, in wet shoes, in the shower of the kids the window is always open - this despite the fact that we in the coats came there. In the stall sell a lot of lemonades, chocolates, sl. cotton, estessno at frantic rates, but there is no elementary water! And in the cooler in the detachment the water was not always there. The medications that were given out for the child (it was necessary to use 3 days) disappeared from the counselor on the first day and were no longer seen. Children are not looked after (only at moments of games), there is no educational work, in the squad constant fights, food trade, theft and harassment of the weak. The boy, threatening his comrades with a sharp piece of iron, like a knife, quietly terrorized the small ones all over the shift. This is all I'm writing about the detachment of 7-9 years. For 3 weeks the son washed once! Because it was very cold in the shower, and the bath was promised once.
