BP Hockey. Hockey Camp Vienna (Bruck an der Leitha)

IN 7-DAYS CYCLE IS:

ON-ICE:

• training and improvement of shooting in a variety of ways
• training and improvement of passing in a variety of ways
• training and improvement of skating in a variety of ways
• training and improvement of puck handling in a variety of ways
• tactical solution of game situations adequate to the players age
• power skating
• goalie training
• games 1:1, 2:2, 3:3
• competitions

OFF-ICE:

• training and improvement of coordination abilities (especially for ice hockey) based on the principle of hands work – foots work independently of each other
• preparation of player before training and match/game - various individual activities after training and match
• various methods of regeneration after training and match

Off ice training will be at outdoor sport areas and in the case of bad weather it will be in the near gym.

GOALTENDING'S TRAINING AND MAIN GOALS:

• Improving goalkeeper´s skating in goal area, also out of the goal area in conjunction with a special skating
• Improving of basic stance and quick return to the standing position after saves
• Orientation in / out of goal area, work behind the net, decreasing of shooting angle (correct body position and moving from side to side, correct choice of place in the net from tactical and technical view
• Catching and blocking (all types of saves in different goal areas and after different types of shoots)
• Saves in difficult game situations (after blocked view, rebounds, etc.)

We are also aimed on the right save in concrete game situation. We achieve an automation of right moves and habits with large number of repetition. The goalies subsequently acquire gaming skill and precise implementation of all gaming activities. Coach oversees to the constant correction of technique but allows to the goalkeeper to shape his own style of play, in the case, that the goalie observes the principles of the goalkeeper´s game.
