Junior Camp is the own children's camp of STB TOURS tour operator in the UK, the leading company for the organization of children's language programs abroad. An exciting active program is complemented by English classes with professional British teachers in international groups.

1 shift: based on the historic Laguna Hotel. The comfortable Hotel Laguna is built in the traditional English style, which allows the participants to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the old Victorian England. Rooms: 2-3 bed rooms with private facilities. In each room: satellite TV, bathroom or shower, toilet, wardrobe, tea and coffee making facilities. &Nbsp;
2 shifts: based on the modern residence of the Bournemouth University Dorchester House. Rooms: 1-bed comfortable with private facilities in the room. All rooms are very new and clean. In each room: satellite TV, bathroom, toilet, cloakroom, tea / coffee making facilities.
The hotel is just a 15-minute walk from the magnificent sandy Bournemouth beach, awarded the Blue Flag » ;. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel is the historic city center and the picturesque coastal park.
Food: includes 3 meals a day with a choice of meat and fish dishes, salads, vegetables and fruits, desserts (breakfast and dinner at the hotel, packed lunch at school). Vegetarian food is provided on request, allergic food is taken into account.

Main program:
Children's language camp “ Junior Camp ” organized by the tour operator STB Tours with the support of the international language school Cavendish School of English in Bournemouth. The participants of the camp are waiting for the stunning sandy beaches of the warm English Channel, relaxing at sea, lots of sport, exciting excursions and the most incredible English adventures!
Bournemouth is located on the south coast of England, 2 hours from London, on the coast of the English Channel. It is a popular resort town where, thanks to the warm mild climate, locals and tourists rest on the beaches in the summer, bathe in the sea and even enjoy the view of the growing palm trees on the coast! This sunny cozy town is ideal for both children's recreation and youth entertainment – shops, cafes, cinemas, bowling, laser tag and water parks are waiting for our guys!
The historic center of Bournemouth has preserved the charm of the atmosphere of the 18th century. The city is famous for its magnificent gardens and the second largest harbor in the world. In Bournemouth there are many museums, theaters, traditional English cafes, ancient buildings and cozy parks. Every year, children from all over the world come to Bournemouth to learn English and live in a real, traditional England!
English Language Course:
We invite you to one of the best private linguistic schools Cavendish School of English , founded in 1983. The school is located in an elegant historical building. The school has spacious classes for classes, recreation rooms, a place to relax in a cozy garden, a computer class and a school café where the camp participants will dine.
The friendly and informal atmosphere that reigns in the school facilitates rapid progress in learning conversational English and overcoming the language barrier. Distinctive features of the school: flexible educational program, high academic standards and round-the-clock support of children by the group's curator in any situation. All classes are held in international groups.
The English language course includes 20 academic hours of classes per week. On the first day of school, a language test is conducted at the school, according to which the children are distributed according to the training groups. A transition to another group is possible if the participant in the program is too easy or difficult for his teacher. At the end of the course, each participant is given an official certificate confirming the level of English proficiency. Classes are conducted by experienced British teachers with the highest qualification of teaching English as a foreign language.
Active rest program:
In addition to the morning English classes, the participants of the camp will have a daily full program of entertainment, sports games and excursions! The author's program of the camp is aimed at maximizing the talents of children with immersion in the English-speaking environment, studying the culture, traditions and modern life of England.
In the camp program:
Art Club : creative festivals in English, master classes on handmade, fashion show, creative projects and presentations on the culture and youth life of the UK!
Sport Club : team games, football, beach volleyball, water sports (canoes and speedboats ), water park, bowling, laser tag, morning gymnastics on the beach and evening discos!
Brain Club : discussion games, exciting city quests, quizzes in English, treasure hunts, strategic games, interviews with local residents and newspaper issues!
Soul Club : evening gatherings by the sea, forest expeditions, traditional English tea-drinking, historical board games , romantic walks in the parks and embankments of Bournemouth, evenings of English poetry and the game of rallying!
Excursion:
The camp program includes seven excursions, including 2 full day excursions to London and Oxford!
London – this is the world's largest cultural and financial center, a city of great traditions and great history. Skyscrapers of the City and the narrow streets of Soho, elegant Piccadilly and the majestic Tower Bridge, Big Ben and Trafalgar Square are waiting for us! Will not do without entertainment – museum of Madame Tussauds, London Eye, and, of course, the long-awaited shopping for Oxford Street and Regent Street! Europe's largest store, “ Apple ” or a cozy cafe with English tea and cakes, a musical at Covent Garden or a boat trip across the Thames – London will be able to fulfill any desire of our young travelers.
Oxford rightfully bears the title of one of the world's capitals of education. In this ancient academic city reigns an amazing atmosphere of youth, knowledge and culture. Oxford, located 80 km from London, is often called the "City of dreamy spiers" to highlight the beautiful architecture of the city and the feelings of inspired students who touch the sacraments of ancient libraries and famous colleges. In this cult place, 50 Nobel laureates were educated, the young Alice Liddell, a prototype of Alice from Wonderland, filmed the best shots of "Harry Potter ”
There are also excursions to Portsmouth, Stonehenge, Winchester, Southampton and Lalworth Cave.

Pedagogical support and medical care.
Leaders (groups-leaders) of the children's camp “ Junior Camp ” - experienced specialists who have been carefully selected and trained in the language camps of STB Tours every year. Our leaders are fluent in English, have experience working in English-speaking countries – in Great Britain, Ireland, the USA and Malta. Among the counselors – talented teachers of the English language, candidates of sciences, professional presenter, filmmakers, graduates of foreign universities.
The camp leaders accompany the group from Moscow, solve any domestic problems and school situations, help children adapt to the program, organize bright creative events, help in rallying and emancipating children, create a unique atmosphere of friendliness and trust in the program. All the leader groups are on round-the-clock contact with parents and the STB Tours office.There is a doctor on the territory of the school. All the children on the program are insured by the Military Insurance Company. The policy covers all costs associated with providing first aid. &Nbsp;

Благодарим за обратную связь и за уделенное время для обсуждения проблемных моментов по телефону.
По нашему опыту можем отметить, что отношение к телефонам в лагере у родителей бывает максимально противоположным. Иногда наличие/отсутствие телефонов даже является основным критерием при выборе лагеря: кому-то принципиально важно, чтобы ребенок всегда был в доступе, а кому-то наоборот, особенно, когда у ребенка отмечается так называемая «зависимость» от гаджетов.
В нашем лагере нет практики забирать телефон у детей во время смены, однако вожатые могут прибегнуть к этой мере, если наличие телефонов мешает проведению программы – перед заездом мы отвечали на этот вопрос.
В случае с Александром после того, как Вы связались с нами, мы забрали телефон на день, а после этого стали забирать во время основных мероприятий у всего младшего отряда, так как конкретно на этой смене это было обоснованно - дети действительно много отвлекались на телефон.
Территория ДОЛ «Золотая Долина» предполагает размещение коттеджного типа, поэтому все дети размещаются в домиках. В течение дня дети заняты на мероприятиях, в командной и групповой работе, поэтому часто что-то готовят командами в своих коттеджах. При этом у вожатых есть доступ ко всем коттеджам в любой момент; вожатые постоянно проверяют домики, в том числе обходят территорию после отбоя и в ночное время.
Супницы у деток стоят на столах, и они наливают себе суп самостоятельно, но мы обязательно ещё раз проговорим с командой, что на это нужно неоднократно обращать внимание детей.
Касательно английского: как мы с Вами обсудили, возможно, Александр воспринимал английский как что-то простое, потому что занятия были в игровой форме, а не в привычном формате уроков.
Сожалеем, что ситуация с телефонами стала основной проблемой, из-за которой испортилось общее впечатление о лагере. Если в дальнейшем Александр поедет на смену, мы будем уделять этому вопросу больше внимания.
