Liverpool – one of the oldest cities in England, the main British port, a tourist center and a popular educational destination for students from all over the world. The city is located in the northwest of Great Britain near the mouth of the Mersey River. Liverpool is often called one of the most hospitable cities in England, because locals always welcome guests with a smile and sincere goodwill.
Camp DOM is located on the left bank of the Mersey River at the base of The Liver View Hotel, which overlooks the river and the city in all its glory. To the city center by bus, train or ferry – 15 minutes.
Accommodation: Children stay in 2-3 local rooms with all amenities. The hotel has a dining room, shared lounge area, garden. Wi-Fi is available at the hotel.
Meals: 3 meals a day (hot breakfast and dinner at the hotel, organized lunch in a cafe in the city, accompanied by counselors).

Security and health services:
Counselors and leaders of the DOM children's camp are experienced professionals working in the educational field for more than 10 years in camps around the world - from Canada to China. This is a close-knit team that spent more than one shift together. They accompany the group from Moscow (and also provide support to the children who come to Moscow from St. Petersburg). Counselors pre-create a camp program with the ability to adapt to a specific group in order to immerse children in the creative and educational
Main program:
- English course
Children study English at one of the best language schools in the city – Liverpool School of English. The school is the center of Cambridge Exam, accredited by ISI and the British Consulate and has been accepting international students for more than 30 years. The methodology of the school is based on a communicative approach, the entire teaching staff – qualified teachers with extensive experience.
The level of language proficiency required for studying at school – from A2 (Elementary) to C1 (Advanced). Children are divided into groups based on preliminary testing. Classes are held in closed groups with a native speaker. Children over 16 years old can study in a multinational group (provided that at the time of the trip to school there will be a group of the appropriate age and level). &Nbsp;
According to the results of training, students are issued a certificate of completion of the General English course. Course Duration – 18 academic hours.
- Future Career Experience Program
As part of the career guidance program, children will visit top companies with international status, where they can see with their own eyes how the work process is organized in various corporations, ask interesting questions and think in which direction they would like to build their career in the future. < / p>

We learn about the past, present and future of the main airport of the city. From departure area to customs – all the secrets of the airport will be revealed to us, believe me, there is something to see!
- Amazon Fulfillment Center
We’ll see how Amazon Robotics and people work for the largest e-commerce company!
- Veolia Recycling Center
Ecology theme – one of the most relevant today, and it is here that we learn that, why, and how it is possible and necessary to process, because conscious concern for the environment – trend of this decade.
* Additionally, the following visits can be arranged: Biograd Laboratorty training Center, Liverpool John Moores University, Gledus Computer Coding School, NHS Trust, Cadbury World Chocolate Factory, etc. Organizers reserve the right to change the program camps for circumstances beyond their control. Excursions and events may, in this case, change to similar ones without loss of quality of the program.

In the evenings, children will enjoy an active cultural and entertainment program from camp counselors – various quests, trainings, games, master classes and team building activities. The guys interact with the teams all the time, being in the constant process of creating something new and unusual! &Nbsp;
Camp DOM – it is filling every day with a special meaning, so we always select events so that everyone finds what to show themselves, what to learn and what to share with other guys, whether it's an intellectual game, a creative Open Stage, a gamble « Guess the melody! » or sports competitions.
As in any family, we have what is understood only by « home » - a kind of inner story. Upon returning from the camp, the words #Hashtagdnya, Ukulele, Give back the totem !, Wall, MegaBoss, Information, We are at home, Infusoria in shoes (and many others!) Liverpool
- The Beatles Story
One of the main attractions of the city is the museum of the legendary band, which tells about the difficult path to the musical Olympus.
- Cavern Club
After the museum, we will definitely visit the world famous club, where the Beatles performed, and leave our name on the walls that keep the memory of each visitor to this iconic place.
- Anfield Stadium
The club’s home stadium « Liverpool » ;, the fourth largest stadium in England! We are waiting for a fascinating tour of the stadium, where sports history is going on!
- Royal Albert Dock
Symbol of Liverpool, in the past – major international port, and now – central tourist space of the city.

Liverpool's shopping district, where all the major brands for every taste are concentrated!
- Merseyside Maritime Museum

Edinburgh
The capital of Scotland, a majestic ancient city, above which stands an old castle on a granite rock. A city with a unique atmosphere of mystery, history and magic; a city that still lives to the sound of a bagpipe; the city where the main British writers lived and worked; the city where in the famous cafe « Elephant House » the story of Harry Potter was born. A city that cannot compare with any other place in the UK! &Nbsp;
York
It is said that the story of York « is the story of England ». Ancient city walls, narrow streets, buildings « as from the picture » – This place has been inspiring and delighting with its unique beauty for many centuries!
London
At the end of the trip we are waiting for a two-day excursion to London! We will visit all the main attractions that were previously seen only in pictures in textbooks - we’ll take a mandatory photo at the red booth against the backdrop of Big Ben, take a walk along Waterloo Pier, look at the guards at Buckingham Palace, touch the lions at Trafalgar Square, find the royal swans in St James Park, see the city from a bird's eye view from St Paul &# 39; s Cathedral, learn the ancient secrets Tower, take a selfie with T-Rex at the Natural History Museum, take a double-decker red bus ride and make sure to shop on Oxford Street!

Благодарим за обратную связь и за уделенное время для обсуждения проблемных моментов по телефону.
По нашему опыту можем отметить, что отношение к телефонам в лагере у родителей бывает максимально противоположным. Иногда наличие/отсутствие телефонов даже является основным критерием при выборе лагеря: кому-то принципиально важно, чтобы ребенок всегда был в доступе, а кому-то наоборот, особенно, когда у ребенка отмечается так называемая «зависимость» от гаджетов.
В нашем лагере нет практики забирать телефон у детей во время смены, однако вожатые могут прибегнуть к этой мере, если наличие телефонов мешает проведению программы – перед заездом мы отвечали на этот вопрос.
В случае с Александром после того, как Вы связались с нами, мы забрали телефон на день, а после этого стали забирать во время основных мероприятий у всего младшего отряда, так как конкретно на этой смене это было обоснованно - дети действительно много отвлекались на телефон.
Территория ДОЛ «Золотая Долина» предполагает размещение коттеджного типа, поэтому все дети размещаются в домиках. В течение дня дети заняты на мероприятиях, в командной и групповой работе, поэтому часто что-то готовят командами в своих коттеджах. При этом у вожатых есть доступ ко всем коттеджам в любой момент; вожатые постоянно проверяют домики, в том числе обходят территорию после отбоя и в ночное время.
Супницы у деток стоят на столах, и они наливают себе суп самостоятельно, но мы обязательно ещё раз проговорим с командой, что на это нужно неоднократно обращать внимание детей.
Касательно английского: как мы с Вами обсудили, возможно, Александр воспринимал английский как что-то простое, потому что занятия были в игровой форме, а не в привычном формате уроков.
Сожалеем, что ситуация с телефонами стала основной проблемой, из-за которой испортилось общее впечатление о лагере. Если в дальнейшем Александр поедет на смену, мы будем уделять этому вопросу больше внимания.
