Meeting / seeing off:
When we flew to London, our group was met by the driver and drove to Bournemouth on the minivan. We drove for about 2.5 hours. At the school I was warmly greeted by the family and drove to the house by car.
Training:
Since I'm 15 years old, I studied the second shift. Each day there were 3 lessons per hour with a break of 15 minutes. The lessons were very interesting and flew by unnoticed. Particular emphasis was placed on spoken language.
Accommodation:
The first week I had a neighbor from Brazil, and on the third came the Italian. Both are wonderful girls. It was with them that I had the greatest practice of language. The family is very hospitable. Two small children. It is a pity that there was not enough time to communicate with the family.
Food:
For breakfast, either cereal, or juice with fruit, or toast. I preferred flakes, however, by the end of the third week they were pretty boring. Lunch in the school was quite meager: a sandwich, fruit, juice, a small chocolate and chips. I supped in the family. The food was very tasty and varied. If something does not like or does not fit in the diet, you can just tell the family and it will not cook it anymore.
Leisure:
Every morning there were various activatis, namely: games on the beach, mini-golf, field games, excursions to another city, shopping. School ended at 17:30 and there was free time. After dinner, we with the guys usually walked around the city or went to the beach. The company was international: Swiss, Germans, Spaniards, so the language was practiced well.
National composition:
A lot of Russians. But in general, the composition was very variegated: the Germans, the Swiss, the Spaniards, the Italians, the Poles, the Chinese, the Japanese, the French, the Austrians, the Brazilians, the Venezuelans, the Ukrainians, the Hungarians.
How much money is needed:
About 200 pounds per week.
Tips for students who will go to this school:
From the first day, do not be shy, go get acquainted with the guys from other countries. They came here for the same purpose as you: to learn English, and they will only be happy to communicate with you.
