We invite children accompanied by our teachers on a trip to The White Sea coast, in the Sunny autumn, the weather on our dates is Sunny, with no precipitation in the range from 0C to — 4C. Here we will get acquainted with the circumpolar flora and fauna, see the seals in their natural habitat, we will be able to observe wild animals, get the skills to control the motor boat, learn how to build a temporary shelter, fish, see how the indigenous inhabitants of the White sea - Pomors extracted salt and built unsinkable boats.

Children's camp for the autumn vacation on the White Sea

We invite children to accompany our teachers on the trip to the White Sea coast , on a sunny autumn, the weather in our dates is sunny, with no precipitation in the range from 0С to — 4C, where untouched nature pleases with bright colors, fascinates and captivates travelers at first sight. Bright green dense pine and spruce, yellow birch, warm golden hues, red mountain ash, bright cranberry drops, white cozy lichens, a bright blue deep sky and endless sea of steel! Here we will become acquainted with the circumpolar flora and fauna, see seals in their natural habitat, we can observe wild animals , learn the skills of driving a motor boat, learn how to build a temporary shelter, fish , we will see how the native inhabitants of the White Sea coast - the Pomors extracted salt and built unsinkable boat-carbs, learn to smoke fish , stove and many other things that you can try only here on the shore of the White Sea.

Day 1. October 31

Departure from Moscow to Belomorsk. Arrival in Belomorsk. Transfer to the camp. Accommodation. Rest.

Day 2. November 1

Breakfast.

Walk along the shore of the White Sea at low tide. An acquaintance with the inhabitants of the littoral. What grows up and who lives on the littoral? Ecological features of invertebrate littoral. Brown seaweed littoral. The role of littoral in the ecosystem of the sea. Collection of material for research in the laboratory.

Biological excursion to the forest. Discover the circumpolar flora and fauna. Visit cranberry sea . Collecting cranberries.

Preparation of open pies with cranberries.

Lunch.

Quiet time.

Installing photo traps in the places where foxes, bears, moose, hares and other wild animals appear will provide an opportunity to safely observe forest residents and get unique photos even at night.

Day 3. November 02

Breakfast.

Marine mammals. Observation of seals in their natural habitat. Biology and ecology of marine mammals . Boat trip to one of the islands where you can meet these cautious animals.

Skills of navigation and safety on water . Lessons of motor boat management, maneuvering on boats, development of equilibrium skills and feelings of water. Training behavior in extreme situations.

Quiet time.

Sea fishing. Fishing for Donkey from the boat. On your return: Master-class for smoking fish in a specially equipped place. Tasting different types of smoked fish.

Breakfast.

Visiting the Kolyomi boat building workshop, where we will get acquainted with the descendants of the masters continuing the traditions of their ancestors and see how boats are born, on which the Pomors left the sea from the earliest times.

Dear participants and parents! This is essential: The presence of all the listed positions is necessary for a joyful and safe participation in the program. There are NO stores on the program and we will not be able to purchase the missing items. Please be more careful when assembling or collecting children on the trip! It's good if children have cameras and video cameras with them. If you want the child to be with mobile communication, then in the area of the program only "Megaphone" is working. The time for calls is allocated after dinner, around 8:00 pm (Moscow time). If the program participant requires the presence of any medicine in the personal medicine chest — please let us know in advance. It is strictly forbidden to bring with you any kinds of alcohol, tobacco, psychotropic and narcotic drugs and tranquilizers. Recommendations for clothing. Autumn in the White Sea is cooler than summer in central Russia by about 5 degrees. This means that the temperature in November, as a rule, is in the range from 0С to-4С. The amount of precipitation can be very different: it is possible for several weeks without a single drop from the sky, and rainy weather for several days. Children — program participants — should be prepared to spend the whole day in nature. Choosing the time for long excursions, we try to adjust to the weather so as not to stay for a whole day without shelter over your head in rainy weather, but every child should have a full set of warm clothes and shoes and protection from rain. Good afternoon! Thanks for the feedback. We served food only when the children sat down at the tables. But, apparently, the food still cooled. I hope that the warm atmosphere in our camp compensated for the lack of heat in the food.
