Duke of York ’ s – This is a prestigious British school with a spacious campus, located in the picturesque county of Kent. The Duke of York ’ s School, which established the summer school in the 2000s was founded in 1801 by the Duke of York and is now under the patronage of the Duke of Kent.

The school is located near the British port city of Dover, surrounded by majestic buildings, chalk cliffs and historical sites. In 2012-2014 all rooms, classrooms and sports facilities of the school have been renovated.

Younger (8-12 years old) and older (13-17 years old) students live and study separately.

Younger children, who are often away from home for the first time, live in rooms with conveniences of 2-5 people. The residences have large cozy common areas for leisure.

Senior students are accommodated in double or 4-bed rooms, each of which has its own bathroom.

In each residence there is a senior housewife who ensures the safe and sound stay of students at school.

The dining room at Duke of York ’ s was made in the form of an exact copy of the Hogwarts dining room from « Harry Potter » ;! Meals are organized as a buffet, and each child can choose a menu to taste. Packed lunch is provided on excursion days.

Junior students (8-12 years old):

The course includes 20 hours of English per week. Qualified teachers provide an individual approach to each child using learning technologies such as interactive projects and " Active English " ;.

Senior students (13-17 years old):

The course for an additional fee can be increased to 23 hours of English per week. Students improve their skills by participating in debates, presentations, theater productions and creative projects.

The school has the opportunity to take an intensive English course.

Excursions

The convenient location of the Duke of York ’ s school allows you to make excursions in the following areas: London for sightseeing and shopping; Tate Modern Museum of Modern Art, Chelsea Football Club « (Chelsea Football Club), the London Eye Ferris Wheel, St. Paul's Cathedral (St Paul &# 39; s Cathedral), the British Museum and the Buckingham Palace. &Nbsp;

Younger students take part in activities such as obstacle course, orienteering, mountain biking, boat racing (in the pool) and mini-triathlon.

In cooking classes, students bake chocolate muffins, oatmeal cakes, tartlets, biscuits and make fruit smoothies.

Day schedule:

The afternoon is busy depending on the chosen course, and for the evening events the whole school gets together. Every day of the week, city walks, games, contests, sporting events, cultural evenings, excursions, discos, film screenings, quizzes – at the choice of students. Moreover, at their disposal until late in the evening all the premises of the school: library, computer room, sports center. &Nbsp;

Татьяна, большое спасибо за Ваши комментарии по программе! Замечания по инфраструктуре и питанию переданы объекту размещения. К сожалению, по регламенту Роспотребнадзора, все выезды с территории и контакты с посторонними во время всей смены в сезоне 2021 года запрещены, также на берегу нет специального оборудованного детского пляжа, поэтому купания не было. Так как лагерь находится в лесной зоне, связь не всегда стабильна, не все мобильные операторы работают с зоной покрытия в этом регионе. В части корпусов был доступен wi-fi, также для улучшения качества сигнала были установлены дополнительные роутеры. Наши сотрудники старались всегда быть на связи для оперативного контакта между детьми и родителями. У нас проводится 30 уроков языка в неделю? чтобы компенсировать свободное время в тихий час, которое есть у остальных детей. Также проводятся мастер-классы с носителями, настольные игры, спортивные мероприятия, дискотеки и тд. Сожалеем, что ребёнку не подошли по интересу реализуемые лагерем и нашими учителями мероприятия. Будем рады Вашим новым обращениям по нашим английским лагерям в РФ и за рубежом, если интерес к языку у ребёнка появится.

Галина, большое спасибо за Ваши комментарии по программе! Замечания по инфраструктуре, работе медперсонала и питанию переданы объекту размещения. По регламенту Роспотребнадзора, все выезды с территории и контакты с посторонними во время всей смены в сезоне 2021 года запрещены, все дети и сотрудники заезжают с отрицательными ПЦР на ковид, поэтому если у Вас есть лабораторно-подтверждённый диагноз по возвращении из лагеря, просим сообщить нам об этом для информирования объекта размещения. Вижу, что по Вашему бронированию была оформлена программа с изучением английского - у нас проводится 30 уроков языка в неделю чтобы компенсировать свободное время в тихий час, которое есть у остальных детей. Также проводятся мастер-классы с носителями, настольные игры, спортивные мероприятия, дискотеки и тд. По программе у нас проводится 30 уроков языка в неделю, мастер-классы с носителями, настольные игры, спортивные мероприятия, дискотеки и тд. К сожалению, по регламенту Роспотребнадзора, все выезды с территории и контакты с посторонними во время всей смены в сезоне 2021 года запрещены, поэтому выходы в магазин и за территорию кампуса не были осуществлены. Так как лагерь находится в лесной зоне, связь не всегда стабильна, не все мобильные операторы работают с зоной покрытия в этом регионе.
