Base camp on the Volga island near Konakovo (Tver region, 130 km from Moscow). The camp is equipped with everything necessary for comfortable rest: a large team tent, modern tent camping tents, a galley equipped with gas stoves, awning shower, toilet and bath, gasoline generator for charging phones, sports ground.

On the route - conditions marching. We spend the night in tents, cooking on fire under the supervision of instructors. Charging phones - gasoline generator or solar battery.

Main program:

Day 1 – meeting in the yacht club "Konakovo River Club", transfer to our island, getting acquainted with instructors, accommodation in tents. Theoretical training, instruction in safety and radio communication. Training on the water with an instructor on each catamaran, working out the basic maneuvers: turns, a departure-approach to the shore, the taking of reefs.
2nd day – Usually for 2 day, participants can independently operate a catamaran, instructors are escorted on a separate vessel, in case of difficulties, changing to the crew. Constant radio communication between catamarans. During the day, the training process continues under the guidance of instructors.
3-6 day – hike along the route: Konakovo - Orsha - Dubna with a sortie to the famous Shar (a ball 18 m in diameter with a unique acoustic environment inside, lies among the Volga forests) - flooded g.Korcheva, who went under the water during the construction of the Moscow Sea - Konakovo.
7th day – Acquaintance with Racing Yachting: studying BCP (Rules of Sailing Races), starting procedure, tactics and strategy in races. Holding a friendly Regatta between the participants, short and long distances. Awards of winners. Return to the yachtclub " Konakovo River Club " approximately at 18-00.
In the intervals between the conquest of the Volga expanses – sports games, swimming, fishing, studying sea knots, acquaintance of children with the skills of camping life (setting up a tent, lighting a fire, etc.)

Nice staff, gorgeous nature, practical training in handling the sail, a comfortable tent camp. Good balance of classes and free time. It is a lot of impressions and very good.

- Negative

Not a flaw, but a feature. A little razdolbayski - when someone gets up, sails - when he gets together ... with the proper attitude, this can be perceived as a plus, but the child and I went on a hike and therefore expected a slightly clearer schedule.
But when the calm - this is really a disadvantage.
