Aurinko is not just a language camp with a rich history, thoughtful and exciting language and entertainment program, but a project implemented within the framework of the cross-border cooperation program, supported by the Finnish and Russian governments, aimed at strengthening the popularization of the Finnish and English languages. The language camp, founded in 2000, is one of the main projects of NGOU "Ingermanlandskij uchebno-nauchnyj centr", a center founded by Finns living in Russia.

The camp is located on the territory of the East Karelian national school and is located on a picturesque island on the shore of the largest lake in Finland Saimaa. Separate educational building, separate building for creativity with all the infrastructure, separate building for accommodation and food. On the territory of the camp there is a coastal area: a sauna complex with a sauna and a living room for BBQ, a beach and a pier for swimming and water classes with an instructor in physical culture and sports. The camp is located in a unique, ecologically clean place, which is famous for its amazingly beautiful nature, many attractions and has the status of the national landscape of Finland, it is a favorite holiday destination of the Finns.
Comfortable 2-3-bed accommodation in cozy and spacious rooms. Shower and toilet in the room. There are refrigerators and the ability to use the kitchen. One of the advantages of the camp is the proximity to St. Petersburg, the average travel time is about six hours, including the passage of the border, by lunch the guys already arrive at the camp.
Balanced 5 meals a day with a Swedish board system, prepared only by Finnish chefs European menu. On the menu: fish, meat, lots of vegetables, roots, fruits, cereals, cereals, pastries, soups, juices. For children with allergies and special food menu. Aurinko - language camp, founded in 2000, and one of the main projects of the NGO "Ingermanland educational and scientific center", a center founded by Finns living in Russia. The camp is equally valued and the quality of language teaching, and comfort of stay, and thoughtful program. After all, as you know, only adding up all these components, you can relax usefully.
Exciting lessons with experienced teachers-native speakers of English and Finnish from the UK and Finland. The main languages studied in the camp are English and Finnish. English or Finnish lessons take place 4 academic hours a day / 5 days a week. After-manual labor (in Finnish or English) 2 academic hours a day/5 days a week. Our English teachers David and Nicole come from the UK and are certified English teachers. Nicole graduated from Cambridge University and David is an Oxford graduate. Both of them have been working as English teachers in the UK for a long time, but after moving to Finland they have been teaching the language to our children for more than ten years. Teachers are very popular among children. Children are divided into groups depending on the level of language proficiency. Lessons are held in an interactive format using the latest methodological techniques and an individual approach to the child. With young children, the lesson is held in the form of a game.
Friendly atmosphere in the classroom, interesting and informative educational materials, dynamic learning in nature-all this helps to overcome the psychological barrier and indecision in the use of a foreign language. The acquired knowledge is consolidated in practice - during the workshops, excursions and other activities, the entire camp staff is fluent in English/Finnish. We teach not only competent and beautiful language, not only to expand vocabulary, but also to hear, understand and love the language you are learning.
- Real language environment
We are proud of the real language environment in our camp, which helps children of all ages to overcome the language barrier and get pleasure and joy from communicating in a foreign language. In our camp children are surrounded not only by true professionals and native speakers - teachers, staff, counselors, but also children and students from other European countries.
- Rich educational and entertainment program (informative interactive excursions-quests, Hiking adventures, workshops, games, competitions, visits to the rope Park)
Round-the-clock support of the group, the concept of" the child is left to himself " is absent. For each age group of children, depending on the season and the theme of the shift, a separate program of recreation and activities is developed. Every child is involved in the process.
- Professional team of caring counselors
All counselors are young and active, have extensive experience working with children, are certified teachers and speak foreign languages.
At the end of the shift, the guys are issued two international certificates: certificate in East-Karelian Folk school and certificate Ingrian research and training center of completion of a foreign language.
- The session's Diary
During the session every day on the wall of the group in "Vkontakte" laid out a report on the activities, workshops and classes of children with photos. And also removed the constant stories in Instagram, and parents watch performances of children live.

Отвечая на ваши замечания:
1) На смене кроме других вожатых были наши преподаватели Питер и Мутинта. В нашей команде в зависимости от смены Мутинта является либо преподавателем, либо вожатой. В первый день смены вместе с Питером они провели письменный и устный тест ребят и приняли решение не отделять 2 детей более младшей возрастной группы от основной (всего 11 ребят). Задачей лагеря является преодоление языкового барьера и увеличение словарного запаса. Наиболее эффективно это можно сделать только в группе, когда ребята взаимодействуют друг с другом и учителем. Питер также уделял младшим детям отдельное внимание в течение урока и при изучении определенных грамматических и лексических структур давал им подобранные специально для них задания. Но мы благодарим вас за отзыв и постараемся уделить еще большее внимание этому моменту.
2) Территорию лагеря от клещей мы обязательно обрабатываем каждый год перед началом сезона. В этом году комары были очень активны как раз в период первой смены в начале июня, мы закупили специальные детские средства и ими пользовались ребята под присмотром вожатых, а также обязательно в памятке перед отъездом мы просим родителей дать ребятам с собой привычные для них средства/браслет от комаров.

Professionalism of counselors depends on the shift. A change immediately after us, even from the point of view of even a photo stream and attention to each child, is better. I practically didn’t see my child in the photographs. They didn’t notify about the injury that had happened - they learned from the child and had to call everyone herself, I would like to have a more responsible attitude in this case, since in fact it was not just a scratch, as I was assured, but a deep wound on the head and we found out only at home. There was a slight dizziness according to the child, but they did not take the picture, although insurance covers everything in this case. The floors are dirty on the premises, while the children always walk in socks. Children are responsible for the cleanliness of the room themselves, but they do not have a vacuum cleaner or a mop for wet cleaning.

3) All common areas are constantly cleaned, our Finnish employees who do their work in good faith are responsible for this. Children wear socks only in some classrooms and in the assembly hall (or in replaceable shoes).
4) We have all the necessary cleaning tools, our employees constantly monitor the cleanliness of the rooms, but the guys must support it themselves.

In our camp, balanced five meals a day of European standard, developed for all Finnish educational institutions.
The breakfast menu always includes: oatmeal, jam, vegetables, cheese, meat slices, yoghurts, cereals, muesli, juices, etc. The lunch menu and dinner menu daily have a choice of 4 salads, 3 types of side dishes and several types to choose from meat, fish, always eat vegetarian food. We also have a coffee break and evening tea, which offers slicing and baking.
It all depends on the preferences of the child.

The child was in the camp for the first time. Very positive emotions and the desire to come next year only to this camp remained. All the children were constantly busy. The camp has a daily routine. In the morning, English lessons, manual work with native English speakers. After lunch there were excursions, quizzes, quests, concerts, games, the guys mounted films, went to the sauna, indoor pool, swam in the lake .... Catering buffet. Every day in the Vkontakte group, parents saw a photo report of how the day went. The work of counselors on 5+! Well done, thank you very much for the excellent shift.

Very very good camp! My son had the experience of going to another camp, after which he told me that in life he would never go to camps again. It was possible to persuade all the same on "Aurinko Camp" in the spring shift. My son liked it so much that now he is going to the summer shift again.
