Location: Language camp of the international linguistic theatre-school English City takes place in the children's health camp "Pioneer", which is located in the Leningrad region, on the picturesque banks of Lemovskogo lake (36 km Priozersk highway from St. Petersburg). The camp is located on 20 hectares of pine forest, in an ecologically clean and picturesque place of the Karelian isthmus.

Спасибо Вам за отзыв! Лагерь на море - хороший выбор для ребенка и мы рады, что Вы оценили территорию и занятия английским языком.
По поводу ребенка, нам очень жаль, что атмосфера в комнате не была полностью дружелюбной, как это обычно бывает в нашем лагере. Мы провели работу с вожатыми и руководителями, чтобы впредь конфликты решались на стадии их появления. Дети, нарушающие правила в лагере, с нами на смены больше не ездят, но, к сожалению, о поведении выясняется уже на смене.
Надеемся, что хорошие впечатления будут ярче, чем этот инцидент.

У нас был увеличен педагогический состав, мы старались контролировать всех детей, но не всегда все дети успевали вовремя присоединиться. На качестве образовательных занятий и тренингов это не сказалось, но в бытовых моментах были недочёты, которые мы будем стараться устранять.

Rested daughter (14 years old) on the winter shift in the "Pioneer". I am delighted with her stories about the camp. Everything was exciting, informative, sincere. For a week, the children managed to pump up the skill of conversational English with native speakers, play the mafia and many other games, stage a fairy tale performance, dance until discouraged at discos, write a script and make a short film.
I recommend for older children who already have a knowledge base, they will be more comfortable communicating in English.
Special thanks to counselors and native speakers - you are beautiful.
Oh, where are my 15 years old, she herself would have happily rested in such an interesting place.

- не выдержана заявленная программа, точнее полностью заменена без уведомления родителей. Детей поставили перед фактом. Родители узнали от детей;
- программа на которую заменена очень слабая, сделана «на коленке»;
- досуг детей, помимо английского, старшие развлекали себя как могли, включая телефоны;
- питание в лагере - невкусно;

Интересная программа.

- Negative

Никакого режима, дети ложатся поздно, не учитывается возраст ребенка. Это первый лагерь, где мне дочь звонила и плакала, что у нее болит голова и она хочет спать, а еще продолжается какое либо действие (награждение или просмотр видео) это было постоянно! Вожатые не обращают внимание на просьбы нормализовать режим. Ложиться после 0.00 и вставать в 8.30 - это перебор для детей 7 лет.

Прекрасный коллектив вожатых, дети заняты каждый день, много интересного. Посещение веревочного парка, прогулка на озеро, занятия английским с носителем и ещё много, много приключений).
Питание нормальное, каждый день выкладывались фотоотчет.

Площадка "Град детинец" языковой лагерь с носителями языка, недалеко от города. На территорию родителей не пускали из-за ковидных ограничений, поэтому оценить объективно не могу. На фото была пенная вечеринка, флешмобы и шоу талантов, поставлен спектакль .Но все это не удалось посмотреть родителям. Можно было попозже посмотреть в группе вконтакте результаты. Т.к. очень большие отряды и их много, глядя на фотографии я сначала думала, что моего ребенка вообще нет в лагере. И лишь на 5-й день обнаружила ее на одном из фото со спины.

Недостаточен контроль за старшими отрядами. Девочки уже вовсю начинают интересоваться мальчиками и наоборот и иногда это переходит всякие границы.

Едем далеко не в первый раз, ребёнку очень нравится. Отряд разновозрастный, старшие могут почувствовать себя лидерами. Младшим всегда есть помощь. Очень многое держится на харизме англичан-преподавателей, они молодые, активные и дружелюбные. Условия проживания достойные, каждая комната имеет свой сан.узел, что очень удобно. Большая территория в сосновом лесу. Питание нормальное, ребёнок не голодал.

The child is 13 years old. I liked it during the autumn shift, especially making a film. Food no complaints. Very beautiful nature around. I would rate it excellently, but this is her opinion. Says there was "too much English." In my opinion, this is a virtue, not a disadvantage. Native teachers are friendly and very contact with children. Many thanks to the whole team of this shift!

-Large landscaped area, modern buildings (shower and toilet are individual for each room), a large hall for classes, a lake nearby, a modern dining room, normal food (my child is not picky, was not emaciated for a shift). I really liked the lessons of English with native speakers, in a conversational, laid-back form, rather communication, rather than lessons. The foreign carriers were more likely friends, my child is still texting (in English, of course) with Ciara from Italy.
On parental day, a video report is provided on how the children spent time.

I was in the camp in winter 2019. I liked a lot.
1. Location.
2. Program.
Attitude towards children of teachers and the creation of a positive, friendly atmosphere for them.
The staff was always in touch, set up to communicate with parents and assist in any situation.

Meals, specifically for us was modest. A lot of the food was just not really tasty cooked.
It is desirable to improve the quality of cleaning the rooms where children live (there was age-old dust on the window sill, and the used bed of the outgoing child was lying around for the whole shift).

My son had a rest in the DOL "Pioneer" 1 shift of 2019. This was the first trip of my son to the camp.
Came satisfied with positive emotions. I liked everything, it was especially interesting to communicate with native speakers and thereby benefit in learning English. Good friendly atmosphere, the children were supervised.
Many thanks to the camp counselors and all the camp staff!
Following the trip, we plan to go to the camp again and not only for the summer, but for school holidays.
If a pool is added, it will be even more interesting. There is a suggestion to add excursions or trips with a visit to entertainment events and more activities and games on the street.

Clean rooms. Shower and toilet in the room. Do not restrict access to the soul. Daily classes with carriers 4 times a day. Good organization, rich program. Do not select phones. About the food all is well! The main thing - the child has the desire to go again!

On the first day of the stay, the child called and said that one of the employees, Vladimir, shouted at the squadron so that the children were very scared
The same Vladimir in one of the last days deprived the entire squad of the 2nd dinner. I personally called him and said that it was not pedagogical, to which Vladimir replied that the children were punished for disrupting the event (candle). In my opinion this is not acceptable!
As for the food, everything is fine! But once the child said that they had served a casserole with condensed milk diluted with water for breakfast. And it was not always tasty soups. Although the canteen is not an Inglish city, but a common one - I think that the camp administration should try to step up to the leadership of the canteen and improve nutrition.
Another disadvantage is that the child tells how the road from the dining room to the building is too long
No washing machine: we were several times in different camps - there is always a washing machine (you should be able to wash your underwear)
It is not clear why such a short stay until January 9, although the holidays are until the 14th, it turns out a few working days of the parents the child stayed alone at home. This is a general wish - why not increase the length of stay - children do not mind at all. Parents (I think) too: after all, the main task of the camp is to spend the holidays in a safe and interesting way, and not at home in front of the TV and on the Internet! For example, to extend until Friday, weekends with parents at home and from Monday to school — optimally.

Thanks for your feedback.
Nobody complained about going to the DOL "Pioneer"; on the contrary, many children and employees expressed gratitude to the team of the canteen for a very tasty and fresh food. The road from the building to the dining room 300 meters is an extra opportunity for children to walk through the fresh air in the pine forest. We believe that this is a plus, not a minus of the camp.
All English City interseasonal programs are designed for a week. For 7 days, the play is staged or films are shot. The methods of our classes cover a week in the camp during the autumn-winter-spring break.
