Ireland's international children's program Discovery takes place in Clare County, surrounded by scenic landscapes. Children's Camp “ Ireland Discovery ” is held on the basis of the language school Clare Language Center in Ennis, the administrative center of Clare County. Prior to the capital of Ireland, Dublin – about 2.5 hours drive.
Claire County is located in Western Ireland on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. This is the most picturesque part of Ireland, covered with evergreen hills and valleys. The coastline is heavily indented by deep bays and bays. Here are the main attractions of Ireland – Cliffs Moer and the Wild Atlantic Way. On the coast there are wide sandy beaches with a shallow and warm sea, which makes this region one of the most popular places for surfing in Europe. In addition to magnificent natural landscapes, there are many archaeological and historical and cultural monuments. The county of Claire deservedly bears the title of the most popular tourist region of Ireland.
Accommodation and meals
Camp participants live in host Irish families, in comfortable 2-bed rooms with a representative of a different nationality. All host families live in close proximity to the educational building. The peculiarity of host Irish families is that the child is always guaranteed a warm and sincere atmosphere, maximum attention to the issues of his life and comfort. Accommodation in Irish host families will introduce our children to Irish culture and everyday life. 3 meals a day in the family, vegetarian or diet food is available on request. &Nbsp;

Security and health services:
Pedagogical support and medical services. The school staff provides round-the-clock help and medical care for children. All sports events are accompanied by professional sports instructors in small groups. On the territory of the school there is a 24-hour professional protection.
Accompanying STB Tours (groups-leaders) is our special pride. They accompany groups from Moscow, solve any domestic problems and school situations.
Main program:
Claire County – The pearl of Ireland, the most beautiful region of the country with breathtaking cliffs, green hills and magnificent sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast. Every year a large number of children from Europe come to the program, which guarantees the international atmosphere of the camp. Participants are offered a choice of accommodation in the host Irish family or the residence of the school.
The vast expanses of the Emerald Isle, filled with myths and stories of the ancient Celts, are waiting for us to dive into the atmosphere of magic and fabulous impressions! Drive to the camp “ Ireland Discovery ” – this is a great chance to visit the edge of the world, significantly improve your English, try yourself in surfing and see with your own eyes the legendary Irish dances! Members of the “ Ireland Discovery ” offers active leisure activities to choose from:
- Surfing. Surfing takes place on the sandy beach of Ireland Lahinch Beach, a 15-minute drive from the camp. This 5-kilometer beach is the capital of not only Irish surfing, but also one of the best surf spots in Europe, with a very shallow sea and perfectly suitable for beginners wave. Classes are conducted by experienced surfing instructors. If you have long dreamed of getting on the board, conquering the wave and making the best photos of this year – welcome to surfing courses! Having tried surfing once, you can not forget this hobby!
- Horse riding. Classes are held near the camp, in a professional riding school. Courses are available for both beginners and advanced riders in small groups. Classes are held in a covered arena and in nature. Horseback riding in the background of the hills and valleys of Ireland – what can be more beautiful and romantic!
- Tennis. The Tennis Club is a 10-minute walk from the Clare Language School. This is the oldest tennis club in Ireland, founded in 1887. On the territory of the club there is a professional children's tennis school. Classes necessarily include tennis matches with Irish teens!
All classes are held 4 times (12 hours) per week.
The cost of active rest:
- Surfing: 140 euros per week
- Horse riding: 180 euro per week
- Big tennis: 120 euros per week
For each sport, you can choose a minimum of one week of classes.
In addition to these sports, you can choose the general program of activities Multi-Activity, included in the price of the camp:
- team sports and competitions,
- Irish folk games,
- creative workshops,
- dance classes,
- photo shoots!
Creative:
In the evening in the camp are games, concerts, creative workshops, talent shows, film libraries and themed discos. Once a week is an incendiary evening of Irish dancing! On excursions, we are waiting for flash mobs and city quests, communication with local residents and surprises from leading groups.
Excursion program.
There are 6 excursions to the 2-week program: a trip to the city of Galway, the Aran Islands, Moer cliffs, the Wild Atlantic Way, Limerick, Connemara Nature Reserve, national parks and historical Celtic monuments. If you want the group, you can arrange a trip to Dublin.
All excursions are conducted in English by professional guides – native speakers, accompanied by groups of school leaders and leaders of STB Tours.
English language course. The Clare Language Center is famous for its own curriculum, designed specifically for international children's and youth programs. In the classroom, much attention is paid to the development of colloquial speech, the study of the culture and traditions of Ireland, creative games using graphic and musical material. Such classes are ideal for any age of students and language proficiency.
The course includes 20 academic hours of classes per week in international groups of up to 12 people. On the first day of school, a language test is conducted at the school, according to which the children are distributed according to the training groups. A transition to another group is possible if the participant in the program is too easy or difficult for his teacher. At the end of the general course, each participant is given an official certificate confirming the level of English proficiency.

Добрый день!
Благодарим за обратную связь и за уделенное время для обсуждения проблемных моментов по телефону.
По нашему опыту можем отметить, что отношение к телефонам в лагере у родителей бывает максимально противоположным. Иногда наличие/отсутствие телефонов даже является основным критерием при выборе лагеря: кому-то принципиально важно, чтобы ребенок всегда был в доступе, а кому-то наоборот, особенно, когда у ребенка отмечается так называемая «зависимость» от гаджетов.
В нашем лагере нет практики забирать телефон у детей во время смены, однако вожатые могут прибегнуть к этой мере, если наличие телефонов мешает проведению программы – перед заездом мы отвечали на этот вопрос.
В случае с Александром после того, как Вы связались с нами, мы забрали телефон на день, а после этого стали забирать во время основных мероприятий у всего младшего отряда, так как конкретно на этой смене это было обоснованно - дети действительно много отвлекались на телефон.
Территория ДОЛ «Золотая Долина» предполагает размещение коттеджного типа, поэтому все дети размещаются в домиках. В течение дня дети заняты на мероприятиях, в командной и групповой работе, поэтому часто что-то готовят командами в своих коттеджах. При этом у вожатых есть доступ ко всем коттеджам в любой момент; вожатые постоянно проверяют домики, в том числе обходят территорию после отбоя и в ночное время.
Супницы у деток стоят на столах, и они наливают себе суп самостоятельно, но мы обязательно ещё раз проговорим с командой, что на это нужно неоднократно обращать внимание детей.
Касательно английского: как мы с Вами обсудили, возможно, Александр воспринимал английский как что-то простое, потому что занятия были в игровой форме, а не в привычном формате уроков.
Сожалеем, что ситуация с телефонами стала основной проблемой, из-за которой испортилось общее впечатление о лагере. Если в дальнейшем Александр поедет на смену, мы будем уделять этому вопросу больше внимания.
