DOL is located near Roshchino and pos. Tsvetolubovo (Karelian Isthmus). It is a picturesque and ecologically clean place in a pine forest and on the banks of two beautiful lakes: Goluboye and Nakhimovskoe. The territory is fenced and protected. In camp territory – a large football field, children's playgrounds, a gymnasium for basketball and volleyball, a computer room, a library, a large concert hall, a disco.

It's very simple: for each shift, a specific topic is selected, to which all daily activities will be tied. The topic is chosen based on the age of children and those cultural phenomena that are relevant at the moment. A role-playing game will help the child:

Summer change theme 2018: Role-playing game " Around the world in 21 days "

English classes are conducted in a game form with the goal of developing conversational skills and removing the language barrier, activating and expanding the vocabulary. Authentic video materials, game techniques, project activity are used. During the shift, the children and their group prepare the project. At the end of the shift, the presentation of the project takes place and the issuance of certificates on individual results. Groups are formed according to the level of language proficiency.
Developing studio mugs: mugs: theater, sports studios, hand made, design, animation, origami and much more. Each group, according to its individual schedule, necessarily visits all studios. During this time, children will be able to show their talents and discover new ones.

English in a playful way, excellent presentation of the lesson, excellent native speaker teachers did not leave our son indifferent. In addition to English classes, there were classes in different directions: theater, dancing, crafts, active games. In the evening, a disco. The food is excellent. Our child was satisfied, although it is categorical in the choice of dishes. It was nice to get a gift at the end of the shift in the form of a common photo (standing in a frame on the desk) and a sweet gift. The child brought many warm memories of life in the camp and new acquaintances. We plan to return and are considering such an opportunity.

Good nutrition: soups, cereals, dairy products, fruits.
The staff themselves are counselors of a pleasant appearance, very friendly, but I can’t say how quickly and professionally they resolved conflicts in the team, I often advised my daughter on the phone and reassured me.

As for English classes, a very low level. Absolutely uninteresting lessons, what my daughter brought (a notebook and printed tasks), so the post-Soviet textbook “Happy English” is more exciting than what was given in the shift.
The theme of the shift is “Chronicles of a Thousand Worlds” - it is based on star wars. You know, I didn’t see all the parts, but my 7 year old. the child did not understand what it was about. So, grabbed some words, names of heroes ... nothing. And on the basis of this theme all Saturday performances for parents were made. At the same time, they were poorly done, the children mumbled something inaudibly into the microphone, looked around somewhere all the time, not a single decent dance, song, or scene was seen. In general, the poor work of the management team, the methodologist, or who is responsible for everything there?
The camp is very average. For the first time will do. We’ll still think about a second trip, since they were sent at full cost, without compensation. And for such a camp is expensive.

During the winter holidays, two of my daughters rested in the camp. Opinion of both: the camp is interesting, the lessons are entertaining, English is not stressful, not like at school. The youngest (11 years old) liked the leaders, quests, classes, discos, the guys in the squad. A senior (14 years old) liked English, accommodation in the ward and a huge mirror! She expected more warmth and responsiveness from the counselors.

The disadvantage is the number of people in the squad - 31! the elder, apparently because of this, were nervous counselors. The younger one was only 18. I would also like a little more free time to communicate with each other - the time is literally written by the minute and for the whole day, this is good for younger students, but the older ones want live communication. And also English in groups without taking into account the level of knowledge, but by age.

We rest in this camp not for the first year, not a single grudge, interesting, fun. Unfortunately, this time the review is not flattering.

- Negative

Please take a closer look at the selection of personnel. 3 shift, 2 squad. Young man, counselor - regular rudeness, lack of approach to adolescent children. Absolutely boorish attitude, complaints of the child that can roughly grasp the hand and pull it. The tone of the treatment is completely unacceptable. The child's complaints are permanent.
Fortunately, this is the only employee of this type, all the other counselors are excellent guys, without exception.

Great camp! My daughter went to the camp for the first time, she is 10 years old. She asked me to leave her for the second shift, she did not want to leave. She liked everything: children, counselors (professors), food, living conditions, leisure. As a mother I will note: the camp is located in a pine forest on the shore of the lake; the territory is clean, large; a variety of food, delicious (even for my favorites); counselors caring, sympathetic, open; leisure is organized well. As for English - playing in a game form, it is very exciting and useful.

My child lived in the 5th building in the 2nd shift of 2014. There for a long time there was no repair, walls shabby, beds and cases awful. Bathrooms that need repair. Thanks to the staff, although it was kept clean.

My princess (12 years old) loves new and interesting, so she liked it. This is English and the studio. Leaders are good, they help in preparing for the evening show. They came for the second time. The machine with the sale of various mucks was far away, this is also a plus.

Disadvantages are seen by adults. Good leaders, but I think they should improve their communication skills. As with children, and with adults. This year our squad was one of the last places in all contests. I think this is an indicator of the work of the leaders.

Camp "Blue Lake" is very like my son (10 years) and my nephew (14 years). They had a second rest in it. Excellent organization of leisure. Professors-counselors take up every minute of the children's holiday. Interested, develop various games, quizzes, concerts. Nothing beyond the natural, but the child is delighted. As for nutrition, I can not say anything, I have not achieved anything from him than fed. In rooms and buildings is not smart, like in the Soviet camp, but my son does not really care. Definitely said that he would go again.

Of the shortcomings, I can only note that there is no delivery to the camp. I had to search the navigator for the area of dislocation. Although the site has coordinates and we found quickly. And the price bites plus from Volgograd it was necessary to get. For remote regions, you can make a discount more.

Conditions in the camp are good in my opinion. We sent the children last summer to the Blue Lake. I was in the camp several times, when they brought and took children, and on the parental day. Children lived in a brick building, in a room for four people. In the bed room, bedside tables, cabinets, nothing superfluous, but what is needed is available. Shower, toilet - all on the floor. The opportunity to wash is every evening.
In the hall there are coolers with drinking water. In the camp itself there is a small shop with chocolates and juices. But the prices in it are overly excessive, it is better to pack a package with sweets at home.
According to the children, English was every day, there were still classes in the circles. Still there were some relay races, quizzes. They walked a lot, took discotheques in the evenings. On Saturday, when my parents arrived, there was a small concert, very sincere. There were children from all bands. Even the smallest (which included my younger).
It is very good that you can get compensation for summer shifts. The discount turns out more. than significant. Worried. that there will be a lot of trouble with the documents. But everything turned out to be simple. And it's very convenient that we paid for the ticket, already subtracting the amount of compensation.

Undoubtedly, the main goal of my child's stay on the program was to learn English. And for us this goal was achieved. Teachers were very sociable and qualified here. Observance of the language regime and communication in English had a positive impact on my daughter. She replenished her vocabulary and stopped being afraid to speak English (and we have problems with spoken English).

It is a pity that in the camps of the Leningrad Region children are provided with rooms with shared facilities on the floor, and not in the room.

The first time I decided to send my child for a short winter shift to the Blue Lake. This is our first experience of a trip to the camp and immediately for a long shift somehow it's just hard to decide to send. But my son is already 12 years old, it's time to teach to independence. And it is better, when a child spends holidays not in the city at the computer, but in nature, communicating with peers.
Unfortunately, none of our friends could send the child. And I was a little worried if my son would feel lonely. But the fears were not justified. The first day the son boasted that he had found new friends. And the whole shift was full, so that he did not have time to complain and feel lonely. For me, full employment and security-was the main criterion in the choice of camp. And in this regard, I liked the camp very much.

I have been going to the camp for 5 years, I can say that I grew up in the "Smart Vacations". I really like that there are constant visits by familiar guides who lead English and studios. Over time, there were many friends with whom we met in the camp, otherwise we would never have met.

On the spring shift, we went to the camp "Meridian" in the meadow. The weather brought a little, but we still had a good rest.
