We invite you to go with us on a sea voyage beyond the horizon along the shores of the White sea. We go on two boats under sail and on oars. Staying on a desert island, in the Pomeranian towns and fishing lodges. We have an opportunity to live this journey in an atmosphere of Viking and Pomor hikes. Participants receive top-garment of linen, a woollen cloak, belt.

The change will take place on the islands of the White Sea. Rocky shores, pine groves, heath fields, sandy beaches. To the scientific station on Cape Kartesh - 7 km, to the village of Chkalovsky with the motorway - 20 km. &Nbsp; Excellent view of the sea, almost deserted island, pine groves, orchids, sandy beaches and heathlands. On the territory of the camp there are two tents, a tent and a stone house for 5 people and a sauna, which must be visited at least 4 times per program.

Guys live in large multi-person tents and tents for 6 – 12 people, sleeping in sleeping bags under woolen raincoats, on a felt mat. &Nbsp; Things are stored in backpacks, in a separate tent. Instructors live in the same room with their participants. &Nbsp;

Prepare the participants together with the instructors in the equipped campfire place or in the tent. Firewood is harvested with instructors. The dishes are washed in the sea.

The toilet is wooden. The log cabin is 100 meters from the tents. We wash ourselves, brush our teeth in a stream and at sea. The doctor performs a daily physical examination.

The team is always with the participants. We have satellite communication facilities and good contacts with the local Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. With the group there is always a doctor (the doctor has experience as a leader of water campaigns), all instructors have many years of experience in managing autonomous sea and foot tours.

Main program:

We invite you to join us on a sea voyage " Over the horizon! " along the shores of the White Sea. We go on two boats under sails and on oars. We stop on uninhabited islands, in Pomor settlements and in fishing houses.

Before the campaign, we will have three days to learn everything necessary. We will hold them in the base camp on the island of Sidorov.

In the training program - first aid, working with oars and sails, navigation, rescue on water and landing techniques in surf, with a storm.

Participants themselves decide, in which direction will travel and what places to visit. They plot the route with our help and choose their commander. The team of instructors takes an expert position and prevents the dangerous actions of the team of participants.

Wooden boats are created for this program on the basis of ancient Scandinavian and Pomorian specimens: The forage without transom is sharp, the casing on the copper rivets, instead of the rudder – steering oar stitch.

Thanks to the high sides and outlines of the hull, we can go by sea with great excitement. Long oars allow you to go into the calm at a speed of 3 knots. A small sediment and a strong body allow you to approach the shore.

Day schedule:

Sleep - not less than 8 hours. Food - at least 3 times a day, at least 2 times hot. In the training period - about 8 hours of training a day.

Put dishes, hat, sweater and waterproof jacket in an easily accessible place – they will be needed when navigating by ship. Do not take unnecessary things – participants will have to cross the rocky terrain on the island with their backpack. Put all things inside the backpack, some items make it difficult to load, interfere with transitions. When selecting items, it is worth considering that things made of wool, linen, cotton are more hygienic than most synthetic products. In addition, natural materials are less affected by the occurrence of fire sparks.
