Thematic Recreation Sports Profile Out of town For children 8 - 14 years old

Did you know that some time ago "Skill Camp" held programs entirely devoted to the craft? Didn't find the time? Yes, there was a case, but then most of the craft topics were included in the program "Pathfinder". We decided to repeat the successful experience of the past years and to hold a shift dedicated to the craft reconstruction of the full cycle. It means that the participant for 7 days will produce the final, working product not from semi-finished products, but from primary raw materials. This craft program was nominated for the Governor's prize.

Main program:

The program "The Mysterious » It is rare and unique in a number of educational programs for children in that here an urban child can learn useful, practical at home techniques and skills of needlework and economic activity, not in theory, but in practice. The program "The Mysterious » absorbed the experience of previous formations of handicraft programs, developed and carried out taking into account the real level of development of most modern children and adolescents with the only sustainable skills - possession of a spoon, computer or smartphone. Of course, not every modern person may need a skill, say, forging iron or making a wooden ax, but both of these technological processes contribute to the formation of figurative thinking, the perception of volume and form, develop attention, observation and memory. And, importantly, they help solve multi-level tasks, which deprived children with « clip-on » thinking. After all, to see in a rough wooden or iron workpiece the future elegant object, representing in what way and by what methods it can be manufactured, not everyone can.
The program "The Mysterious » — it is not only a craft, but also an active cognitive rest aimed at developing a child's ability to set and achieve a goal, awareness, social adaptation – communication and interaction in an uneven-aged team of instructors and program participants.

In the shift program:
- the history of Ancient Rus and traditional folk crafts, acquaintance with Russian cultural traditions;
- blacksmith's treatment of metal (2 training days);
- carpentry and woodcarving (making bird feeders, wooden utensils and utensils);
- making an imitation of an arrow (reconstruction according to ancient technology) and ax axes (participants over 14 years old);
- needlework from natural materials;
- breeding a fire in the forest, harvesting firewood with an ax;
- fencing on sword imitators;
- swimming pool (daily);
- walking tours in the autumn forest;
- sports and developing games in the gym and on the street;
- evening gatherings-conversations with fragrant tea from grasses.

RUBBER BOOTS (for hiking in the forest). 3. Warm shoes (boots or winter boots). Unfortunately, children's shoes do not always correspond to the conditions of the program (sneakers, sneakers, rags or boots). Dear parents, take care of the health of the child being sent to the program! 4. Sports slippers (sneakers) for training in the gym or other light shoes for the premises. 5. Two pairs of warm socks and three ordinary ones, plus spare felt insoles. 6. Warm jacket and pants. 7. Trouser belt (for knife, flask, etc.) 8. Thermal underwear, sweater, sweatshirt and other clothes in the required quantity. 9. Winter hat (the jacket hood is not an alternative to it), gloves or mittens (two pairs). 10. Accessories for visiting the pool (large towel, slippers, hat). 11. Accessories for personal hygiene (face towel, toothbrush and paste, soap, shampoo, washcloth, other personal care items). 12. A mug, a bowl and a spoon are metal (NOT PLASTIC – in a plastic mug you will not heat tea, but you can not put a bowl on hot stones or a plate). 13. The knife of the WORKER. The dumber the knife or the lower its quality, the more likely the child will be injured by it. No nail files (silver) on the blade. Folding penknives with a blade length of 3-5 cm, a bunch of screwdrivers are too useless. However, even high-quality folding knives from well-known manufacturers with a blade lock and other wisdom in children's pens fall apart. I am an adult I can use this knife for years, and the child will fall apart like a more simple tool (chisels, axes, saws, hammers …). It is better to give the child a strong kitchen knife with a reasonable length of the blade (7-12 cm), then we will take care of the scabbard ourselves. Knives for children at &Pathfinder » REALLY needed. This is a necessary thing for full participation in the program, and therefore an indispensable element of equipment. 14. Flashlight electric with a stock of batteries (for evening classes and trips to the source for water). 15. Wrist watch (the most simple, for time control). You can take a thermos with volume up to 0,7 liters, electric drying for shoes and other items necessary for active rest, with the exception of an umbrella, a suntan cream, mosquitoes and mites … Please note: clothes for the child should be selected in such a size that it does not constrain movements, and the shoes allow wearing warm socks (rubber boots with felt insoles or insulation liners). Mark clothing « rags » so that they easily recognize it in a general dryer, as children often refuse to acknowledge things by their own. Cash will not have money for children to spend. The money from the trust account (3000 rubles) is spent only if the child is damaged by the camp property or to purchase souvenirs with the symbol of the project « Camp of skill » ;. The full amount or the remainder of the trust account is returned to the parents at the end of the shift.

Мы точно не экономим на продуктах питания для детей, что касается 3 базы- там качественный шведский стол и дети, вернувшись с похода склонны к перееданию и наставники просят ограничить прием некоторых блюд и продуктов, чтобы не было неприятных последствий. На 1 базе да - вы правы -достаточно скромное проживание, приносим извинения за неудобства, связанные с размещением. Еще раз благодарим за отзыв и оценку нашего труда, с поправкой того, дети приходят на базу только поспать. Благодаря скромным бытовым условиям у нас есть возможность проводить разнообразные программы и иметь качественный персонал, а также небольшую стоимость программ. Ждем вас снова.

Ребенок уехал на 1 смену, а остался на 4 смены. Зимние каникулы продлили и лагерь тоже продлили.

We were looking for a summer camp near Moscow with good discipline and physical training. The ranger offers all this, while the program is aimed at fostering traditional values through his own example. In the camp only their instructors and mentors work, without bad habits, who have been trained and trained in a pedagogical unit and share the mission of the camp. There is a parent club.
I liked very much that phones are strictly prohibited. Thus, children are immersed in their environment and they are not distracted by anything. They absorb the information they provide better.
There are no discos, meaningless films and useless activities. The guys have a busy program, they do not have time to miss their parents. Parents, be patient!
For two weeks, the guys managed to go on a three-day hike with heavy backpacks (at the rate of their age), crossed real marshes, fired from onions, built a dugout, learned how to throw a prom and masquerade with natural materials, photographed and much more.
The son became more serious, more independent, physically stronger. This summer he is going to another program - "The Way", to the Crimea.
