Camp North Star

Main program:

At Camp North Star, our philosophy is reflected in everything that we do. Our interest in every child and his family allows us to take our time and help him make up his own schedule of classes for each week. The children together with the counselors choose five classes / classes on the basis of their interests for a whole week. And then, next week, they will be able to choose five new classes.

ATHLETICS

Baseball / Softball, Beach Volleyball, Basketball, Football, Golf, Field Hockey, Frisbee, Tennis, Martial Arts, Archery, Fitness, Cricket, Rugby, Flag Football, Street Hockey.

WATER SPORTS

Water skiing, Windsurfing, Sailing, Kayaking, Water polo, Aquafitness, Canoeing, Swimming lessons, Fishing, Banana riding, Water trampoline.

CREATIVITY AND FINE ARTS

Pottery workshop, Ceramic workshop, Sewing, Woodworking, Rocketry, Jewelery making, Painting, Drawing studio, Craft workshops, Stained glass windows, Journalism, Culinary art, Digital photography, Videography.

THEATRICAL ART

Guitar, Vocals, Song Writing, Hand Drums, Theater Production, Scenography, Technical Department, Improvisation, Yoga Studio, Dance Studio, Radio Studio, Recording Studio.

ADVENTURE

PURPOSE ORIENTED

At Camp North Star, we recognize the uniqueness of every child who comes to the camp. In fact, almost everything we do at Camp North Star is built on this rule; individual attention to each participant in the camp and his family, whenever possible. We believe that setting goals for children is not an exception to this rule. In order for the guys to be successful in the camp and in life, we took the initiative of the skills of the 21st century, as part of our camp philosophy and program. The 21st century skills that we focus on at Camp North Star: Collaboration, Communication, Critical Thinking and Creativity. " 4 C " were defined as the basic skills necessary for young people to be / become successful in their work and in public life. We use these skills as the basis for developing and setting goals with each participant in the camp and his family. We require each family to fill out a special form "The objectives of the camp participant this summer" even before coming to the camp. This allows camp staff to develop a plan for each child that will best help them in their work to achieve their individual goals.
